Rampaging is a status effect that occurs in battle for certain units in Total War: Warhammer II. Only certain units have the potential to rampage. For these units, rampaging is caused when too much damage is taken in too short time. When a unit rampages, it gains stat bonuses and will automatically charge/engage the nearest enemy unit in melee. Total War: WARHAMMER II. Consider that Corsairs have 80 armor, Witch Elves none, and Bleakswords a mere 30. Compared to Bleakswords, Corsairs more than make up for their lack of a shield over the Bleakswords, since they have more than twice the amount of armor against all forms of incoming physical damage. Before a battle begins, the daughters of Khaine drink blood which has been laced with drugs to boost their ferocity and bloodlust.
